In 1988 Jill began practicing law in New York City at a large corporate law firm, Brown and Wood (now Sidley Austin) and worked as a senior analyst for Moody's Investors Service in their mortgage backed securities division.  In 1994, Jill moved back to Massachusetts with her husband and partner, Kurt, to raise their family in Middleton.  After practicing for a few years as a solo practitioner, in 1998 Jill founded Mann & Mann.

Jill is an active member of the local business community and has served on many boards including Middleton's Finance Committee, the Howe Manning School Building Committee, and the Mascononmet Space Needs Committee, and is past member and president of the Middleton Kiwanis.  Jill's practice concentrated on transactional matters and land use permitting.
